Unfortunately loyalty does not seem to really matter with this company. My mechanic explained that this is a known issue with these engines and there is no way of preventing it from happening even if we replace the engine!!! Supposedly they fixed the issue and the noise went away for a while and came back. Is the date on the letter September accurate for when you received it? Continue drinking the rental car. That's what happened to my family Saturday. I have a defect in the paint on the hood. Then power steering started to go in and out. It has been about a month and a half and I have not seen any progress with my case.
Please research the possibility of making this a recall. I had a wonderful experience so far. Hang up then starts flashing airbags are in need of service. The brakes still work so I am able to stop the car, turn they key off and restart it. What do I do now? Needless to say it will not physically start or come on. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.

The 2011 has not been as bad yet but has also had a new water pump, and I cannot get the steering wheel to stop vibrating when driving on the expressway even after getting the wheels balanced rotated and anything else I could think of. My extended warranty covered some of it. These problems started after they put the new engine in. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The man said that once they replaced the rack they would know whether or not the steering pump was okay, it turned out that it was.
This junk is in the shop now with my mechanic. I called the dealership for an update about a week ago. The noise grew slightly louder and constant, around November 2014 we took the vehicle to another repair shop for an oil change and asked that they check out the noise. She has reacted this way twice and I am not going to allow that. I have also had it where it will looses engine power and you can barely get it to go when pushing the gas pedal.
Around December 22, the car started making a weird noise when steering to the right or left on slow speeds. They actually just laughed at the fact this car is a year old and having this problem. But before I could bring it in to get replaced it was leaking fluid which caused the rack and pinion to go bad. Please consider taking the time to investigate these particular complaints. Anyhow, these parts all work together and since the power steering pump is faulty, it can leak fluid, which it is. My car only has 45,000 miles on it. I forget the Buick equal.
Called the local dealer immediately upon arrive home and left voice mail they closed at 5pm. As soon as the mechanic began taking the necessary components off the steering system they told us way needed a new steering rack. My vehicle only has 70,000 miles. Please research the possibility of making this a recall. Original review: July 4, 2018 I purchased a 2008 Acadia brand new. There was also a recall with the lift gate and we got it fixed. The contact was also informed that the failure occurred due to the power steering hose chafing the auxiliary hose.
The dealership told me today likely the seat wont be replaced and if its not I will be contacting me a lawyer. I have three children too. However, after repairs the steering wheel seized and failed to turn. This vehicle should be included in the recall that ended with the 2011 models. Still have two years left of payments and I have no idea how I am going to afford to get my car out of the shop now. So making everyone aware of this problem. Car is a 2011 denali Acadia with 103,000 miles.
And multiple people reported even loosing suddenly ability to steer the car while driving. The contact noticed smoke under the hood. Gm should pay for this faulty parts. Numbers 4 and 6 went first. I complained about the noise on several occasions, service tech said was normal. Fast forward to today March 22 the dealership has now almost had my car for the entire month.
This issue should be required to be recalled. I then researched this and found several other people having this same problem. Power steering could fail as it has in other vehicles. During those visits numerous motors were put into the car along with new parts to whatever they could see needing fixed. I buy a new car, follow all recommended servicing and it's still not enough.
